Blackpool Cruz underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left elbow injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Hurricane Pete underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

A post-race sample was taken from Pacific Bar - the winner of the event.

Browning Bale - Late scratching at 8:50am in  regards to  the transfer and  bona fides of the Greyhound  by trainer Mr Luke Harris (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Willow's Hand and Meet Winston collided approaching the first turn. Willow's Hand crossed out on the first turn checking Stratospheric. Willow's Hand and Wichita Bale collided on the second turn.

Knuckles- New declared weight of 23.9kg, last raced at 25.1kg.

Max Black and Speedy Lemon collided approaching the first turn checking Speedy Lemon. Whizbang Alice checked off Golden Child approaching the first turn. Golden Child and Knuckles collided approaching the first turn checking Golden Child. Whizbang Alice and Golden Child collided on the first turn checking Whizbang Alice, Golden Child and Speedy Lemon. Saharrah Blitz and Knuckles collided approaching the home turn.

Speedy Lemon underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hind leg. No stand down period was imposed.

Deb's Wish and Circus Dancer collided soon after the start. Sagarmatha and Circus Dancer collided approaching the first turn severely checking Circus Dancer which contacted the running rail checking Deb's Wish, King Chad and Urunga Bale. Circus Dancer and Anita's Special collided on the home turn. Urunga Bale and Revved Up Sal raced wide in the home straight.

Circus Dancer underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left foreleg. No stand down period was imposed.
