GRV RACING CALENDAR FEBRUARY TO MARCH 2025

AUSTRALIA DAY PUBLIC HOLIDAY GRADING SCHEDULE

Please note that grading will occur on the Australia Day Public Holiday on Monday 27th January. Please note the following nomination close times.

Bendigo - Race meeting to be held on Wednesday 29^th January - Nominations close at 9am on Monday 27th January
Ballarat - Race meeting to be held on Wednesday 29^th January - Nominations close at 10am on Monday 27th January
Healesville - Race meeting to be held on Wednesday 29^th January - Nominations close at 11am on Monday 27th January
The Meadows (MEP) - Race meeting to be held on Wednesday 29^th January - Nominations close at 12pm on Monday 27th January
Sandown – Race meeting to be held on Thursday 30^th January – Nominations close at 8am on Tuesday 28^th January

GRV phone lines will be open for on Monday 27^th January from 7:30am to 12pm.

WARRAGUL TRACK HARROW

Warragul Greyhound Club will undertake a medium harrow depth of 60-70mm commencing Friday 24^th January 2025.

The club includes sand grading, rolling, and consolidating the track in this process to ensure a safe standard.

The track will be ready for racing on Tuesday 28^th January 2025

GEELONG MEDIUM TRACK HARROW

BALLARAT MEDIUM TRACK HARROW

The Ballarat Greyhound Club would like to advise participants that a medium Harrow  (depth between 41-60mm) will be conducted on Thursday the 23/1/2025 at the conclusion of the trial session. There will be no trials on Saturday the 25/1/25.

HOT WEATHER AFFECTED MEETING: TUESDAY 21 JANUARY 2025

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, the Horsham & Warragul meetings for Tuesday 21 January 2025 have been marked as ‘Hot Weather Affected’.

As a consequence:
1.            Trainers may withdraw any of their greyhounds without penalty, prior to the appointed scratching time
2.            Kennel temperatures will be monitored and recorded
3.             Cooling Vests will be available at the catching pen.

The Bendigo Greyhound Racing Association would like to advise participants that they will, weather permitting, MEDIUM HARROW the track on SUNDAY 19th January.

The MEDIUM Harrow will be at a depth of between 41mm to 60mm
