28/07/2017 Joseph Sultana On Wednesday 26 July 2017, Stewards received confirmation from Racing Analytical Services Limited that a post-race swab sample taken from Lucky Andy subsequent to it competing in Race 3, at Traralgon on 1 May 2017, contained the prohibited substance Morphine and Codeine. At an inquiry on Thursday 27 July 2017, Mr Sultana, trainer of Lucky Andy, was advised of the findings. At that time, acting under the provisions of Greyhounds Australasia Rule 92(5)(c), Stewards notified Mr Sultana that his registration was now suspended pending the outcome on the inquiry.
13/07/2017 Lina Repici Stewards opened and adjourned an inquiry regarding the finding by Racing Analytical Services Limited of the prohibited substances 6α-Hydroxystanozolol and Theobromine in the greyhound “Excuse Me Baby” after it competed at the Healesville Greyhound Racing Club meeting on 09 June 2017. Confirmation of this finding will depend on the analysis of the reserve and control samples at another accredited laboratory. As 6α-Hydroxystanozolol is a permanently banned prohibited substance, acting in accordance with Greyhounds Australasia Rule (GAR) 79A (3)(a), the greyhound shall be withdrawn from any event and pursuant to GAR 79A(3)(b), the greyhound shall be ineligible to be nominated for any further event until such time a sample taken from the greyhound does not breach GAR 79A.

Confirmation of this finding will depend on the analysis of the reserve and control samples at another accredited laboratory. As Dehydronorketamine is a permanently banned prohibited substance acting in accordance with the Greyhounds Australasia Rule (GAR) 79A(3)(a) the greyhound shall be withdrawn from any event and pursuant to GAR 79A(3)(b), the greyhound shall be ineligible to be nominated for any further event until such time a sample taken from the greyhound does not breach GAR 79A.
