Steward's Report
In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed ‘Heat Affected’. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 33.5 degrees and the kennel temperature was 18 degrees. Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue, as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.
Wyong Jameson was quick to begin. You See Me was slow to begin.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Wyong Jameson - the winner of the event.
Following the running of this event, Stewards became aware of the presence of Ms. Terri-Maree Morris on course. As Ms. Morris is currently a suspended person, Stewards issued a direction for Ms. Morris to leave the course immediately, pursuant to LR 68.
