Clearance Officers

Prior to their first nomination, all greyhounds commencing their racing career in Victoria are required to have their particulars checked by a Victorian Clearance Officer. This includes all non-Victorian bred greyhounds, who have not completed a performance trial in another state.

Participants are required to present the greyhound to a Clearance Officer along with its racing identification card.

Upon the particulars being confirmed, the clearance officer will issue a Victorian Weight Card for the greyhound.
