Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Zambora Tara on 8 September 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Big Tango was quick to begin. Mt. View Sassy and Zambora Tara were very slow to begin (3 lengths).
Chasing Summer checked off El Senor Verde approaching the first turn. Big Tango checked off Buzz Out on the first turn. Big Tango checked off Chasing Summer on the first turn. Mt. View Sassy and Big Tango collided on the home turn severely checking Big Tango.
Stewards held the All-Clear in order for the Stewards to review the positioning of the lure in the vicinity of the home turn, with reference to GAR 55 (1). After reviewing all available video footage and acting on their observations, the Stewards were satisfied that no runner was substantially inconvenienced so as to affect the outcome of the Event. Therefore the variance was permitted in accordance with GAR 55 (1) and the All Clear was given on the 6-1-7-4. Stewards spoke to the lure driver and this matter was referred to appropriate Management for further consideration and remediation.
