Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Oreo's Portrait and Mt. View Pearl were quick to begin. My. View Bro was slow to begin.

Sir Roman checked off Mt. View Pearl soon after the start. Chasing Chops and Little Cutie Pie collided approaching the first turn. Oreo's Portrait, Divine Calling and Mt. View Pearl collided approaching the first turn. Oreo's Portrait, Divine Calling, Little Cutie Pie, Sir Roman and Mt. View Pearl collided on the first turn causing Oreo's Portrait, Divine Calling and Sir Roman to fall; severely checking Little Cutie Pie and Mt. View Pearl, both greyhounds raced wide as a result. Little Cutie Pie and Mt. View Pearl collided several times approaching the home turn. Mt. View Pearl raced erratically on the home turn and collided with Little Cutie Pie several times in the home straight, causing both greyhounds to lose considerable ground. 

Oreo's Portrait underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Divine Calling underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Sir Roman underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right pectoral tear.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Mt. View Pearl underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist sprain and a left shoulder injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Trevor Whitford, the Trainer of Mt. View Pearl regarding its performance over the concluding stages of the event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Mt. View Pearl must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Lemon was quick to begin. Chasing The Edge was slow to begin.

Chasing The Edge galloped on Under His Spell soon after the start. Chasing The Edge galloped on Mt. View Moon on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Lemon and Under His Spell collided on the first turn causing Lemon to fall, checking Under His Spell and Chasing The Edge. Chasing The Edge and Mt. View Moon collided several times in the home straight.

Lemon underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left hind lateral calcaneus.  A Seven day stand down period was imposed.

An out of competition sample was taken from Zambora Tara on 8 September 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Big Tango was quick to begin. Mt. View Sassy and Zambora Tara were very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Chasing Summer checked off El Senor Verde approaching the first turn. Big Tango checked off Buzz Out on the first turn. Big Tango checked off Chasing Summer on the first turn. Mt. View Sassy and Big Tango collided on the home turn severely checking Big Tango. 

Stewards held the All-Clear in order for the Stewards to review the positioning of the lure in the vicinity of the home turn, with reference to GAR 55 (1). After reviewing all available video footage and acting on their observations, the Stewards were satisfied that no runner was substantially inconvenienced so as to affect the outcome of the Event. Therefore the variance was permitted in accordance with GAR 55 (1) and the All Clear was given on the 6-1-7-4. Stewards spoke to the lure driver and this matter was referred to appropriate Management for further consideration and remediation. 

An out of competition sample was taken from Next Teardrop (scratched) on 8 September 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.

A pre-race sample was taken from Bruree Fairy.

Lily Rose Harper and Pitstop Prince were quick to begin. Mt. View Redgie was slow to begin.

Pitstop Prince checked off Sassy Sal approaching the first turn. Bruree Fairy raced wide in the home straight. 

Brother Griff was slow to begin.

Cloncurry Girl and Hurricane Pete collided soon after the start. Feel The Thunder checked off Hurricane Pete entering the home straight.

Big City Nights was quick to begin.

Big City Nights and Grace Cabang collided soon after the start. Zipping Gomez crossed out approaching the second turn and collided with Zipping Margo. Zipping Margo and Zipping Gomez raced wide entering the back straight and in the back straight. Zipping Margo baulked in the back straight to avoid contacting the outside fence. 

A post-race sample was taken from Big City Nights - the winner of the event. 

An out of competition sample was taken from Violation on 8 September 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Violation was quick to begin. 

Mt. View Shark faltered approaching the first turn and lost considerable ground. Colonel Diesel checked off Violation on the home turn. Hurricane Miami and Shaun John collided several times on the home turn. Violation checked off Hurricane Miami in the home straight. 

Mt. View Shark underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Colonel Diesel - the winner of the event. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Remember Prince.

Master Febey was slow to begin.

Willow's Hand, Mussa Jack and Remember Prince collided several times approaching the first turn checking Willow's Hand and Mussa Jack. Willow's Hand checked off Remember Prince entering the home straight. 

A post-race sample was taken from Why Not Lilah - the winner of the event. 

Voodoo Spirit and Blue Tick Erin were slow to begin.

Voodoo Spirit and Little Blazer collided approaching the first turn. Blue Tick Erin crossed out on the home turn and collided with Saw Blaze several times. Blue Tick Erin raced wide in the home straight. 

A post-race sample was taken from Odessa Rock - the winner of the event.

Devon Lass was quick to begin. Cairnlea Winnie was slow to begin.

Another Attempt checked off Blue Cascade approaching the first turn. Aston Dimple checked off Cairnlea Winnie on the first turn. Another Attempt raced wide in the home straight. 

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Bella Porscha with kennel representative Tony Cortese and noted his comments.

Banjo Glitter checked off Take A Daisy approaching the first turn. Pacific Bar checked off Take A Daisy approaching the first turn. Banjo Glitter and Bag Of Tricks collided on the first turn causing Banjo Glitter to stumble. Banjo Glitter and Take A Diasy collided several times in the home straight. Pacific Bar raced wide in the home straight.  

Take A Daisy underwent a post-race veterinary examination (frequency of racing) - no apparent injury was reported.

Knuckles was quick to begin. Shady Talks was slow to begin.

Heckle Me and Gracelands collided approaching the first turn checking Heckle Me.

Movie Scene (fail to chase) - Field of 4, Distance 311m, Weight 25.8kg, Box 1, Pulled up - Comment: Not cleared, visibly eased approaching the first turn and pulled up. Movie Scene underwent a post-trial veterinary examination 

Get On Beers (marring) - Field of 4, Distance 311m, Weight 34.2kg, Box 3, Placed 1st, Time Run 18.56 - Comment: Not Cleared - visibly eased on first turn, turned its head to outside entering home straight . A pre-trial sample was taken from Get On Beers.

Iggy The Goat (6 month) - Field of 4, Distance 311m, Weight 32.2kg, Box 8, Placed 2nd, Time Run 18.57 - Comment: Cleared All Tracks, crossed to the rail on the first turn and collided with Get On Beers.
