The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Master Boots and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 2.47PM. due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer B. Haintz was fined the sum of $100.
Brandy and Ashanti Reign were slow to begin.
Navara, Blue Dress Devil and Warning collided soon after the start checking Blue Dress Devil. Brandy and Fire Path collided approaching the first turn checking Fire Path and Navara. Ashanti Reign, Fire Path and Navara collided on the first turn severely checking Fire Path. Navara and Ashanti Reign collided several times in the home straight checking Fire Path, Navara and Ashanti Reign. Navara and Ashanti Reign collided approaching the winning post.
