Lil Grenade was quick to begin. New Guinea Gold and Flaming Bob were slow to begin.
Trudal Bella, Hoofla and Fantasia Dream collided approaching the first turn. Kifinti and Hoofla collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Ashanti Regal checked off Kifinti on the first turn checking New Guinea Gold. Ashanti Regal and New Guinea Gold collided on the home turn.
Ashanti Regal was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
