Cattogio and Sandbag Lilly were slow to begin.
Parhelion and Little Keeley collided soon after the start checking Parhelion. Collina and You Had Me collided soon after the start. Cattogio clipped the heels of Little Keeley approaching the first turn. Parhelion galloped on the heels of Sandbag Lilly on the first turn checking Cattogio and severely checking Sandbag Lilly. Parhelion and Little Keeley collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Pure Tulip and Collina collided approaching the first turn checking Collina and Parhelion. Cattogio crossed to the outside entering the home straight.
Sandbag Lilly was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left shoulder and the left triceps. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
