Trainer, Mr. Trevor Whitford who had multiple runners engaged Mt. View Burner, box (6), Crystal Edition (8) and Banjo Edition (7) advised Stewards that Banjo Edition was scratched due to an elevated temperature.
A pre-race sample was taken from Monument Valley.
Monument Valley and Pandora's Blue were slow to begin.
Little Tiger and Mt. View Burner collided soon after the start. Mt. View Burner galloped on Crystal Edition on the first turn severely checking Crystal Edition and Pandora's Blue. Pandora's Blue and Crystal Edition collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Monument Valley and Mt. View Burner collided in the home straight checking Mt. View Burner.
Pandora's Blue underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr.Trevor Whitford regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr. Whitford, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight.
Crystal Edition underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right chest muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
