Maaddingley Magic serverley checked off Classy Edition on the first turn checking Tracie Bay, Myola Frost, Premier Slice and Inga Bella. Myola Frost checked off Premier Slice on the home turn. Mt. View Entry galloped on Darley Dynamo entering the home straight checking both greyhounds. Darley Dynamo and Mt. View Entry collided in the home straight.
Maddingley Magic underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. Travis Monaghan regarding the racing manners of Maddingley Magic in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr. Monaghan viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.
