Roxy Vodka was quick to begin.  Brilliant Brian was slow to begin. 

Lala Eucalyptus and Roxy Vodka collided approaching the first turn.  Patons Road veered out and marred Lala Eucalyptus approaching the home turn  severely checking Lala Eucalyptus and All Mayhem and causing Roxy Vodka to fall.  Patons Road and Lala Eucalyptus collided entering the home straight. 

Roxy Vodka underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right  triangle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Patons Road underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mr P. Bartlett, the representative of Patons Road regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Patons Road was charged with marring.  Mr P. Bartlett,  pleaded guilty to the charge, Patons Road was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Night Like This and Daph's Extreme were slow to begin. 

Radioactive and Daph's Farrah collided soon after the start.  Radioactive and South Song collided on the first turn, checking Gypsy Andy and Daph's Extreme.  South Song checked off Radioactive approaching the home turn.  Radioactive and Daph's Farrah collided approaching the winning post.

Roxy Tequila, Ice Star, Daph's Desi, Isolating and Who And Why collided approaching the first turn, checking Isolating and Pure Mania; severely checking Ice Star, Daph's Desi and Mobile Doll May and causing Who And Why to fall.  Pure Mania and Isolating collided approaching the home turn.  

Daph's Desi underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the right hind leg. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Who And Why underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left fore carpal fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Trending Quartz, Aston Paisley and Amazon Queen collided soon after the start, checking Aston Paisley.  Amazon Queen and Mepunga Allie collided approaching the first turn.  Trending Quartz and Exit Sign collided approaching the first turn.  Roxy Ouzo galloped on the heels of Heidi's Gift on the first turn, checking Heidi;s Gift.  Amazon Queen and Mepunga Allie collided on the first turn, checking Mepunga Allie and Exit Sign.  Trending Quartz and Roxy Quaker collided approaching the home turn.  Trending Quartz checked off Roxy Quaker in the home straight.

Namida and Gleeson collided soon after the start.  Denise's Vision, Gleeson and Namida collided approaching the first turn.  Namida and Saint Jett collided approaching the first turn, checking Saint Jett; which contacted the running rail .  Denise's Vision and Gleeson collided on the first turn.  Gleeson galloped on the heels of Mepunga Reject on the home turn, severely checking Mepunga Reject which stumbled as a result.

Mepunga Reject underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind triangle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Saint Jett underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left hock. No stand down period was imposed.

Mr D. Drew  failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Aston Mirage for racing.  A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 46 (2)
