Steward's Report
Pursuant to the GRV Hot Weather Policy, Stewards dispensed with two requirements prior to Race 2, meaning greyhounds were no longer required to remain on course for the 15 minute specified time, and that the parading of greyhounds was to occur, as the outside temperature had decreased to a reasonable level.
Panama Rebel was quick to begin. Christa's Girl was slow to begin.
Neighbours Alarm (Trainer's request), underwent a post-race veterinary examination. It was reported that the greyhound was found to have an injury to the left hamstring. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
