Namida and Gleeson collided soon after the start. Denise's Vision, Gleeson and Namida collided approaching the first turn. Namida and Saint Jett collided approaching the first turn, checking Saint Jett; which contacted the running rail . Denise's Vision and Gleeson collided on the first turn. Gleeson galloped on the heels of Mepunga Reject on the home turn, severely checking Mepunga Reject which stumbled as a result.
Mepunga Reject underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind triangle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Saint Jett underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left hock. No stand down period was imposed.
