All staff & participants attending the race-meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings and when engaged in the exclusive race-day functions of handling, boxing, starting & catching greyhounds.

Post Office Girl and Handsome Rhino were quick to begin.

Zoom In and Cassia Bale collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. She's So Cute and Blazing Beast collided soon after the start checking Blazing Beast. Blazing Beast and Zoom In collided soon after the start. Blazing Beast, Zoom In and Cassia Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Zoom In and Cassia Bale. Zoom In and Blazing Beast collided on the first turn checking Blazing Beast. Cassia Bale galloped on Zoom In approaching the home turn checking Cassia Bale, Zoom In and Blazing Beast. Tiger's Nest, Moriah Bale and Spitfire Striker collided on the first turn checking Moriah Bale, Spitfire Striker, Spearhead Joe and Wladmir. Spitfire Striker and Spearhead Joe collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Spitfire Striker and Wladmir collided approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.

Daker was slow to begin.

Chops Malone and Rocket Boy collided soon after the start checking Chops Malone. Voltage Spike and Mr. Bob collided approaching the first turn. Rocket Boy checked off Mr. Bob on the first turn. Okay Sam, Dakar and Cherokee Cat collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Rocket Boy and Voltage Spike collided on the home turn checking Voltage Spike.

Rocky Point was quick to begin. Trending Air and Fairytale Swank were slow to begin.

Fairytale Swank checked off Westar Ivan on the first turn. Rocky Point visibly eased and turned its head outwards approaching the winning post. Westar Ivan and High Action collided approaching the winning post checking Westar Ivan.

Rocky Point underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. N Jones regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Rocky Point was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Jones pleaded guilty to the charge and declined the option of a re-vet, Rocky Point is suspended for 28 days at Geelong and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Will Do and Kratos Bale collided soon after the start. Will Do and Kratos Bale collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Ma's Plum Jam and Galway Grange collided approaching the first turn checking Galway Grange. Galway Grange and Kratos Bale collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.

Big Alfie was slow to begin.

Zed Bale and Zanfrey Bale collided soon after the start. Skating Queen and Zed Bale collided soon after the start checking Zed Bale. Zed Bale and Skating Queen collided approaching the first turn. Zanfrey Bale galloped on Nino's Girl approaching the first turn. Zed Bale, Skating Queen, Nino's Girl, Zanfrey Bale and Big Alfie collided on the first turn checking Nino's Girl and Zanfrey Bale severely checking Skating Queen and Zed Bale causing both greyhounds to fall. Zanfrey Bale pulled up soon after. Shima Tune faltered entering the home straight.

Shima Tune underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Zed Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right humerus fracture. Zed Bale was humanely euthanased.

Skating Queen underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg wrist injury and a lumbar-sacral injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Zanfrey Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a thoraco-lumbar injury and a left hindleg triangle muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards invoked GAR71 on Zanfrey Bale and have directed the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination be accepted.  In determining penalty on the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn, Stewards took into consideration the interference involving several greyhounds at that point of the race.

Armour Bale and Magic Bulldozer collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Magic Bulldozer checked off Zipping Imogen on the home turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Ranako Bale.

Blazing Penny went up with the lids and lost ground as a result. Freddie Fox Trot, Russia With Love and Ranako Bale collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds. Nova Star and Nitro Antwon collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Nova Star and Nitro Antwon collided approaching the first turn checking Nova Star. Russia With Love, Ranako Bale and Westar Carrie collided on the first turn checking Ranako Bale and Westar Carrie.
