Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Holland the trainer of Bruce's Back regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Bruce's Back last raced on 09/10/18. Mr. Holland stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right hock injury.
Curnow Keats and Hird From Bucks were quick to begin. Yuken Win and Bruce's Back collided approaching the first turn checking Yuken Win. National Girl brushed the running rail on the first turn and lost ground. Puerto Reiko was checked off Bruce's Back approaching the home turn. National Girl and Yuken Win raced wide in the home straight.
National Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards conducted a check of catchers licences in this event and all were compliant.
