Steward's Report
In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed ‘Heat Affected’. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 12.8 degrees and the kennel temperature was 16.4 degrees. Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue, as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.
Mr. David Schwarz was issued with a $50 fine, in accordance with GAR 86 & LR 39.1, for kennelling his greyhound after the appointed kennelling closure time. As a result, the kennels closed at 10:00am.
Aeroplane Fury and Super Sealant were slow to begin.
A post–race urine sample was taken from Feel The Rage – the winner of the event.
