Steward's Report
In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed ‘Heat Affected’. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 35.1 degrees and the kennel temperature was 18.1 degrees. Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue, as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.
Wyong Jameson and Doongalla Don were quick to begin. Aston Barton, Rev Pirate and Shima Ballad were slow to begin.
Stewards spoke to representative Ms Rickii Church regarding the racing manners of Shima Ballad turning out of the front straight. After hearing submissions from Ms Church, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued.
