Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Ms. T. Collins the representative for Dyna Owen regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Dyna Owen last raced on 26/09/18. Ms. Collins stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right front toe injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Ninetymile Turbo.
Ninetymile Turbo and Banjo's Affair were slow to begin. Nate's Awesome and Dyna Owen collided soon after the start checking Nate's Awesome. Dyna Owen and Form A Circle collided on the first turn checking Form A Circle and Trey Smidge.
Supplementary Report, regarding Bendigo Race 10, 1st February 2019.
Trainer Ms A. Terry presented the greyhound Eyes On You as requested GAR 23(3). On examination by the On Track Veterinarian the greyhound was found to have a right wrist injury and a left chest muscle injury, the right wrist injury was consistent with the reason for the scratching of the greyhound from the Bendigo event. In the opinion of the O.T.V it was considered to be a 14 day stand down injury. Stewards spoke to Ms Terry in relation to her knowledge of any betting activities on the event. Ms Terry stated she had not supported any greyhound in this event.
