Steward's Report
Warrior Tommy, Henchman and Fancy A Coco were quick to begin.
Henchmen underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Representative Ms. Claire Jones declined the option to have the greyhound re–examined. Stewards spoke to Ms. Jones regarding Henchmen’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Henchmen was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms. Jones pleaded guilty to the charge. Henchmen was suspended for 28 days (1st offence) at warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race urine sample was taken from How High Jive - the winner of the event.
