Steward's Report
Aston Plus – Late scratching at 8:23pm 18/2/2025 when Mr Trevor Whitford reported the greyhound to have a hock injury (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Mr. Aiden Andrews did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event.
Blue Chaser was quick to begin. Be Yourself was slow to begin.
Be Rugged (severely checked in the catching pen) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right fore carpal fracture and flexor tendon injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
There was no head on vision in the back straight for this event.
