Trewly Special was slow out. Spring Square crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Brigadoon and Hot Geko. Hot Geko and Trewly Special collided soon after the start. Shirl The Girl and Diesel Doc collided soon after the start. Trewly Special crossed to the rails on the first turn severely checking Hot Geko and Diesel Doc. Trewly Special and Mini Gum collided on the first turn checking Mini Gum. Trewly Special and Limburg Miss collided on the second turn.
Spring Square and Shirl The Girl collided on the home turn and again several times in the home straight.
A swab sample was taken from Trewly Special, the winner of the Event.
Following the running of the Event, Phone Home (weight 31.8 kgs) trialled over 600 metres starting from Box 4. The sectional times recorded by the Judge were as follows: 9.27: 22.42: 34.80.

Due to a power failure this Event was put back to commence at 8.24 p.m. and Races 3 and 4 put back to commence at 8.42 p.m. and 8.59 p.m. respectively.
Plain Crazy was very slow out. Stephanie Bale and Xia Storm collided soon after the start. Brookfield Flyer, Symonds Bale and Stephanie Bale collided soon after the start checking

White Magic was slow out. Crimson Sky and Wings Of Fame collided soon after the start.
Kayfa Kasey crossed to the rails approaching the first turn checking Crimson Sky and
Wings Of Fame. Crimson Sky, Wings Of Fame and White Magic collided on the first turn causing White Magic to stumble. Alamein Bale and Gerrigong collided approaching the second turn checking Gerrigong and Crimson Sky and severely checking Wings Of Fame. Gerrigong and Crimson Sky collided approaching the third turn. Gerrigong checked off the heels of Crimson Sky approaching the home turn. Alamein Bale and Kayfa Kasey collided entering the home straight. Cynthia Bale and Catch The Action collided entering the home straight.
Wings Of Fame was vetted following the Event and Dr. Gabrielle Carter, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the right wrist. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Carter, the Stewards will stand Wings Of Fame down from competing for 10 days.
