Due to a power failure this Event was put back to commence at 8.24 p.m. and Races 3 and 4 put back to commence at 8.42 p.m. and 8.59 p.m. respectively.
Plain Crazy was very slow out. Stephanie Bale and Xia Storm collided soon after the start. Brookfield Flyer, Symonds Bale and Stephanie Bale collided soon after the start checking
Symonds Bale. Symonds Bale and Xia Storm collided soon after the start. Mouyong Magee, Brookfield Flyer, Stephanie Bale and Marlena's Vin collided on the first turn checking
Mouyong Magee and severely checking Brookfield Flyer, Stephanie Bale, Xia Storm and
Marlena's Vin. Cosmic Intent clipped the heels of Mouyong Magee approaching the second turn. Symonds Bale clipped the heels of Cosmic Intent on the second turn. Brookfield Flyer checked off the heels of Xia Storm in the back straight. Stephanie Bale and Marlena's Vin collided on the third turn.
Brookfield Flyer was vetted following the Event and after being revetted, Dr. Gabrielle Carter, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that she could find no injury apparent with the greyhound.
