Prince Toshack was slow out. Miss Malta and Skinny Mocha collided approaching the first turn. Tokeeta checked off the heels of Miracle Cracker on the first turn and raced wide checking
Skinny Mocha. Sleeveless and Miss Malta collided approaching the second turn. Prince Toshack, Tokeeta and Miss Malta collided approaching the second turn. Miss Malta and Miracle Cracker collided on the second turn. Tokeeta checked off the heels of Skinny Mocha entering the front straight. Kyasha Girl and Miss Malta collided on the third turn. Extreme Heights and Sleeveless collided on the home turn.
Skinny Mocha was vetted following the Event and Dr. Gabrielle Carter, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left shoulder. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Carter, the Stewards will stand Skinny Mocha down from competing for 14 days.
