Steward's Report
Gilmer Bale, Mater Dater and Reef Master were slow out. Gilmer Bale, Mater Dater and Reef Master collided approaching the first turn checking Mater Dater. Quick Gem and Cinder Bale collided approaching the first turn. Sleek Memories, Gilmer Bale and Reef Master collided on the first turn. Quick Gem and Cinder Bale collided on the second turn checking Traveler. Sleek Memories checked off the heels of Cinder Bale entering the back straight checking Traveler. Sleek Memories and Mater Dater collided on the third turn. Sleek Memories and Reef Master collided on the home turn. Cinder Bale checked off the heels of Gilmer Bale entering the home straight. Sleek Memories veered out and marred the running of Reef Master in the home straight.
Sleek Memories was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left hock, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 96.1, Stewards charged Sleek Memories with marring and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at The Meadows and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, pursuant to GAR 97.1 before any future nomination will be accepted.
