Dyna Jezabel crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Riverdale Brandy and Rusty Rheva. Premier Magpie, Sum Sum Keats and Dyna Jezabel collided approaching the first turn checking Sum Sum Keats. Kansas Tornado checked off Dyna Jezabel approaching the first turn. Sly Jones clipped the heels of Sum Sum Keats on the first turn checking Sly Jones and Sue Dough, which raced wide as a result. Sum Sum Keats contacted the running rail approaching the home turn. Sly Jones, Sue Dough, Rusty Rheva and Riverdale Brandy collided on the home turn checking Sue Dough and Riverdale Brandy. Sly Jones checked off Sum Sum Keats on the home turn. Sly Jones and Sue Dough collided in the home straight.
