Strong Max and Regal Diamonds were slow to begin. Why Not Beau crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Lightning Tess, Strong Max and Regal Diamonds. Lightning Tess contacted the running rail on the first turn. Isa Jean checked off Empire Jess approaching the home turn checking Lightning Tess, Strong Max, Regal Diamonds, Why Not Beau and Empire Jess. Empire Jess and Why Not Beau collided in the home straight. Why Not Beau and Regal Diamonds collided several times in the home straight and again approaching the winning post. Strong Max raced wide in the home straight.
