Bot's Blue Boy was quick to begin. Maximum Fazz and Give Me Dianne were slow to begin. Murradoc Whiz, Prince Euphoria and Maximum Fazz collided soon after the start checking Prince Euphoria. Pretty Peggy Sue crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Path To Hope. Path To Hope, Give Me Dianne and Prince Euphoria collided approaching the first turn checking Path To Hope. Bot's Blue Boy and Inside Edge collided on the first turn. Give Me Dianne checked off Prince Euphoria on the first turn. Bot's Blue Boy checked off Path To Hope approaching the home turn checking Prince Euphoria. Bot's Blue Boy and Prince Euphoria collided on the home turn. Give Me Dianne and Path To Hope collided on the home turn checking Path To Hope which raced wide as a result. Pretty Peggy Sue raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.
