Sin City Batman commenced to lose ground soon after the start. Key Effort checked off Change Of Gear approaching the first turn. Lektra Logic galloped on Gordelle Bale approaching the first turn, checking Lektra Logic. Change Of Gear checked off Sadie Rose on the first turn. Key Effort shifted in, in the home straight and collided with Sadie Rose; checking both greyhounds.
Gordelle Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the right hindleg. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
