Yolanda - The frequency of racing was discussed with Trainer Mr A. Lamarca, his comments were noted.
Misty Rainbow – New declared weight of 30.0kg, last raced at 28.8kg.
Little Bertha, Happy Ruby and Mt. View Pearl were slow to begin.
Happy Ruby and Mt. View Pearl collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Black Eyed Heart, Jet Burner, Yolanda and Misty Rainbow collided approaching the first turn checking Yolanda and Jet Burner. Amelia Ella, Black Eyed Heart and Little Bertha collided on the first turn. Jet Burner brushed the rail on the first turn. Yolanda checked off Jet Burner on the first turn. Misty Rainbow and Black Eyed Heart collided on the first turn checking Black Eyed Heart. Black Eyed Heart and Happy Ruby collided on the home turn.
Yolanda underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right toe and an abraded paw pad/webbing on the left hindleg. No stand down period was imposed.
A post-race swab sample was taken from Amelia Ella - winner of the event.
