The traditional 2-wave (odds then evens) boxing process has been re-instated for all races in Victoria from Tuesday, 10 November 2020.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5 m distance from other handlers and staff at all times. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Statler underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right metatarsal.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Yolanda - The frequency of racing was discussed with Trainer Mr A. Lamarca, his comments were noted.

Misty Rainbow – New declared weight of 30.0kg, last raced at 28.8kg.

Little Bertha, Happy Ruby and Mt. View Pearl were slow to begin.

Happy Ruby and Mt. View Pearl collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Black Eyed Heart, Jet Burner, Yolanda and Misty Rainbow collided approaching the first turn checking Yolanda and Jet Burner. Amelia Ella, Black Eyed Heart and Little Bertha collided on the first turn. Jet Burner brushed the rail on the first turn. Yolanda checked off Jet Burner on the first turn. Misty Rainbow and Black Eyed Heart collided on the first turn checking Black Eyed Heart. Black Eyed Heart and Happy Ruby collided on the home turn. 

Yolanda underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right toe and an abraded paw pad/webbing on the left hindleg. No stand down period was imposed.

A post-race swab sample was taken from Amelia Ella - winner of the event.

Innocent Diva - Trainer Mr P. Tanti was queried regarding the ownership of the greyhound. Mr Tanti's explanation was noted.

Mt. View Dodger underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to left forearm and right hind webbing. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to the trainer of Leo's My Champ, Ms K. Thorburn regarding the greyhound's manners upon pulling up near where the finish on lure stops. Acting in accordance with GAR 71(A)(1)(d) Stewards ordered the greyhound to perform a satisfactory trial before any future nominations are accepted. Leo's My Champ must also wear an anti-aggression muzzle in future events in accordance with GAR 71(A)(1)(a). 

Stewards spoke to the trainer of Mt. View Dodger, Mr T. Whitford regarding his behaviour when collecting his greyhound from the finish on lure. Stewards spoke to a number of parties in relation to the incident, and after taking into account all the evidence, Stewards issued Mr Whitford with a warning regarding his language. 

She's Something, Lea Arandt and El Sueno were slow to begin.

Trainer Ms K. Thorburn requested an early race endorsement for Consider It Done. The Stewards approved the request after an examination prior to racing by the on-track veterinarian.  Consider It Done will compete in early races until further notice.

The start of this event was delayed approximately 3 minutes due to Kilmore Harness race 1 running behind schedule.
