Steward's Report
The traditional 2-wave (odds then evens) boxing process has been re-instated for all races in Victoria from Tuesday, 10 November 2020. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5 m distance from other handlers and staff at all times. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Psycho Billy was slow to begin.
Venus Light and Saint Mac collided soon after the start. Statler and George The First collided soon after the start. Little Trucker galloped on Statler in the back straight checking Statler and Little Trucker. Saint Mac, Venus Light and George The First collided approaching the first turn checking Venus Light. Saint Mac and George The First collided on the first turn checking George The First. Psycho Billy checked off Westar Ivan on the first turn checking George The First. Statler and Venus Light collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Psycho Billy and All To Mac collided approaching the home turn. All To Mac and George The First collided approaching the home turn. All To Mac competed in the event with its muzzle dislodged.
Statler underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right metatarsal. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
