Steward's Report
Wise Thunder and Merlot were quick to begin. Kinloch Moss was slow to begin. Bromley and Spearhead collided soon after the start. Bromley and Ma's Plum Jam collided approaching the first turn. Wise Thunder and Sunset Milo collided on the first turn. Bromley and Spearhead collided on the first turn. Bromley turned its head inwards appoaching the winning post colliding with Chasing Rex.
A post-race sample was taken from Sunset Milo - the winner of the event.
Bromley underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to both rear feet. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr D Davis regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Bromley was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Davis pleaded guilty to the charge, Bromley was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
