High Action and Volenti collided on the first turn checking Volenti. Lonely Lisa contacted the running rail on the home turn checking High Action, severely checking Lonely Lisa. Volenti raced wide in the home straight.

Tokyo Bird underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards spoke to handler Mr. J. Willoughby regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Tokyo Bird was charged with marring. Mr. J. Willoughby pleaded guilty to the charge, Tokyo Bird was found guilty and suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Blackpool Marvel and Cherokee Cat collided soon after the start. Mindful Reality and Aston Casino collided soon after the start. Wise Thunder and Merlot were quick to begin. Kinloch Moss was slow to begin. Bromley and Spearhead collided soon after the start. Bromley and Ma's Plum Jam collided approaching the first turn. Wise Thunder and Sunset Milo collided on the first turn. Bromley and Spearhead collided on the first turn. Bromley turned its head inwards appoaching the winning post colliding with Chasing Rex.

Bromley underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to both rear feet. No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr D Davis regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Bromley was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Davis pleaded guilty to the charge, Bromley was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Fernando's Boy and Cawbourne Mimma were slow to begin. Cawbourne Toe and Rockstar Haynes collided soon after the start checking Cawbourne Toe. Squawking Budgie, Cawbourne Toe, Fernando's Boy, Aston Achilles and Cawbourne Mimma collided on the first turn checking Cawbourne Toe, Fernando's Boy, Aston Achilles and Cawbourne Mimma. Two Face and Nixon Bale collided approaching the winning post.

Two Face underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the back right toe. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr T Britton regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. After hearing evidence from Mr Britton, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued. 

Rave On and Speed Star were quick to begin. Pumpernickel stumbled at the start and lost ground.

This race was delayed approximately 3 minutes due to operational matters.

Send It Socks – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.

Send It Socks stumbled at the start. Send It Socks and Lektra Swing collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Text Me Later faltered soon after the start and fell.

Text Me Later underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hock fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

The track was inspected and found to be suitable for racing.
