Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Bell Park Dragon.
Uncharged and Zipping Aubry were quick to begin. Slingshot Tiller and Tokyo Bird were slow to begin. Slingshot Tiller and Tokyo Bird collided approaching the first turn. Uncharged and Bell Park Dragon collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Uncharged and Dalisha Bale collided approaching the home turn. Tokyo Bird marred Slingshot Tiller in the home straight. Zipping Aubry and Fernando Fury collided in the home straight.
Tokyo Bird underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to handler Mr. J. Willoughby regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Tokyo Bird was charged with marring. Mr. J. Willoughby pleaded guilty to the charge, Tokyo Bird was found guilty and suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
