A pre-race sample was taken from Aston Active.
Rosie Posie and Elliott Ness were slow to begin.
Rosie Posie, Tokyo Ted, Idalia Bale and Aston Active collided approaching the first turn, checking Tokyo Ted, Rosie Posie and Idalia Bale. Elliott Ness crossed to the running rail on the first turn, checking Dollhouse Agogo which fell as a result and severely checking Zipping Blossom and Aston Active. Aston Active and Rosie Posie collided in the home straight.
Dollhouse Agogo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg quadriceps injury and a left foreleg carpal sprain. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Tokyo Ted underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left tibia. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
