Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Lil Miss Shooter was very slow to begin (3 lengths). 

Zoe's Dream lost ground from approaching the home turn.

Stewards noted that the muzzle on Zoe's Dream had become wedged in the greyhound's mouth. 

Zoe's Dream underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right monkey muscle and cervico-thoracic region. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Steampunk Tiger was quick to begin. Dami Jack was slow to begin. 

Aston Torbreck checked off Wise El Nino soon after the start. Dami Jack checked off Aston Torbreck soon after the start. Steampunk Tiger and Colden Brookie collided on the first turn causing Steampunk Tiger to gallop on Colden Brookie, severely checking Steampunk Tiger which stumbled and causing Tron and Wise El Nino to fall; Colden Brookie visibly eased and turned its head as a result. 

Tron underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right monkey muscle and right biceps. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Wise El Nino underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Colden Brookie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind toe injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Tim Britton regarding the greyhounds racing manners. Taking into account the interference that occurred on the first turn and after viewing all available race footage, Stewards issued Mr Britton with a warning regarding Colden Brookie's racing manners on the first turn. 

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Exclusively Mine, a post-race sample was subsequently taken. 

Short Tyson was quick to begin.

Short Tyson and Double Truffle collided on the first turn. Double Truffle crossed out on the home turn and collided with Exclusively Mine; both greyhounds raced wide as a result. Double Truffle and Exclusively Mine collided approaching the winning post. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Peter Inguanti, the trainer of Double Truffle and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. 

Lektra Midnight - New declared weight of 35.1 kgs, last raced at 34.0 kgs.

Shivering Stone and Mick's Kimmy collided soon after the start. Lachie's Legacy checked off Weblec Storm on the first turn. Weblec Storm and Lektra Midnight collided on the first turn. Lachie's Legacy collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn. Weblec Storm checked off Lektra Midnight approaching the home turn. 

Easter Orchid was quick to begin.

Aston Jansz checked off Exford Lass approaching the first turn and collided with Lucky Paws. Exford Lass and Kelli Pochette collided on the first turn. Lucky Paws checked off Aston Jansz approaching the home turn. Aston Leah and Kelli Pochette collided approaching the first turn. Mr. Lonely, Easter Orchid and Exford Lass collided approaching the home turn checking Easter Orchid and Aston Leah. Aston Jansz raced wide from the home turn to the winning post.

Ayo Joy was quick to begin. Lochinvar Deus was slow to begin. 

Showboat Capers checked off Volcanic Lava soon after the start. Magic Panther, Whoomph and Drogheda County collided on the first turn checking Whoomph. Drogheda County raced wide form the home turn to the winning post. Lochinvar Deus turned its head approaching the winning post and collided with Crown Ella. 

Lochinvar Deus underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury, a 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer,  Mr Rohan Gladman, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Lochinvar Deus was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Gladman pleaded guilty to the charge, Lochinvar Deus must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Graphic Print was quick to begin. Grawlix was slow to begin. 

Clark Road and Aston Elise collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Clark Road. Kransky and Know Success collided approaching the winning post checking Kranskey. Unusual Suspect galloped on Graphic Print on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Kranskey and Unusual Suspect collided approaching the winning post. 

Aston Squire and Blue Larrikin were slow to begin. 

For The Alliance and Mimstar collided soon after the start. Dyna Aakil, For The Alliance, Mimstar and Lethal Image collided approaching the first turn checking For The Alliance and Lethal Image. Pure Cool Titan, For The Allianz and Mimstar collided on the first turn checking Mimstar. Pure Cool Titan and For The Alliance collided approaching the home turn. Blue Larrikin raced wide on the home turn. Lethal Image checked off Dyna Aakil in the home straight.

Name Me Nelly – Late scratching at 9.05am when Mr Daryl Weightman reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
