Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Magic Panther.
Ayo Joy was quick to begin. Lochinvar Deus was slow to begin.
Showboat Capers checked off Volcanic Lava soon after the start. Magic Panther, Whoomph and Drogheda County collided on the first turn checking Whoomph. Drogheda County raced wide form the home turn to the winning post. Lochinvar Deus turned its head approaching the winning post and collided with Crown Ella.
Lochinvar Deus underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury, a 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Rohan Gladman, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Lochinvar Deus was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Gladman pleaded guilty to the charge, Lochinvar Deus must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
