Steward's Report
Steampunk Tiger was quick to begin. Dami Jack was slow to begin.
Aston Torbreck checked off Wise El Nino soon after the start. Dami Jack checked off Aston Torbreck soon after the start. Steampunk Tiger and Colden Brookie collided on the first turn causing Steampunk Tiger to gallop on Colden Brookie, severely checking Steampunk Tiger which stumbled and causing Tron and Wise El Nino to fall; Colden Brookie visibly eased and turned its head as a result.
Tron underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right monkey muscle and right biceps. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Wise El Nino underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Colden Brookie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind toe injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Tim Britton regarding the greyhounds racing manners. Taking into account the interference that occurred on the first turn and after viewing all available race footage, Stewards issued Mr Britton with a warning regarding Colden Brookie's racing manners on the first turn.
