Steward's Report

Toril - new declared weight of 24.4kg, last raced at 23.3kg.

Toril was quick to begin.  Your Queen was slow to begin.  Talulah Bale, Loves Me Not and Toril collided on the first turn checking Loves Me Not and severely checking Toril; Watched, Kindra and It's All Luck were checked as a result.  Paz visibly eased and turned its head approaching the home turn severely checking Talulah Bale.  Loves Me Not, Watched and Toril collided on the home turn checking Watched.  Your Queen and Talulah Bale raced wide in the home straight.  Paz marred It's All Luck approaching the winning post.

Paz underwent a post race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 4. Paz was found to have an injured right triangle muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to representative Ms. J. Gill regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Paz was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms. Gill pleaded guilty to the charge, Paz must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
