Steward's Report
Lakeview Isla and Benny's Entity were quick to begin. Little Black Joe, Galloping Leo and Charcoal Avenue collided soon after the start. Miss Dee Meadows, Little Black Joe and Galloping Leo collided on the first turn checking Little Black Joe and severely checking Miss Dee Meadows which contacted the running rail as a result and subsequently tailed off. Little Black Joe and Galloping Leo collided on the home turn.
Miss Dee Meadows underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have laceration to the left stifle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
A post race sample was taken from Benny's Entity - winner of the event.
