A pre-race sample was taken from One Thrill.
Liam Roxon was quick to begin.
Alfie Mikado, Tim Tam Sam, One Thrill and Tanjil Ace collided soon after the start. One Thrill and Tanjil Ace collided approaching the first turn checking Tanjil Ace which stumbled as a result. Liam Roxon, Raven Rich and One Thrill collided on the first turn checking Liam Roxon. Tim Tam Sam galloped on Alfie Mikado on the first turn checking Alfie Mikado. Tim Tam Sam checked off Tanjil Ace on the home turn. Alfie Mikado raced wide entering the home straight. Liam Roxon, Raven Rich and Tanjil Ace collided in the home straight.
Mrs M. Barber the representative of Alfie Mikado requested that the greyhound be vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion inside the right tibia, no stand down period was imposed.
