Weeona Yoshi, Thurles Princess and Weeona Roger were slow to begin.  Racing Pulse was checked off Zipping Amy soon after the start.  Macs Road was checked off Zipping Amy on the first turn checking Racing Pulse.  Zipping Kiera and Ides Of Jebrynah collided on the first turn severely checking Ides Of Jebrynah which stumbled checking Thurles Princess.  Racing Pulse and Thurles Princess collided on the home turn.  Weeona Roger and Weeona Yoshi raced wide in the home straight.

Ides Of Jebrynah was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Secret Of Mine was slow to begin.  Yelredda Saint crossed in soon after the start checking Vivian Shiraz and Lightning Blast.  Lightning Blast and Vivian Shiraz collided approaching the first turn.  She's An Earn was checked off Yelredda Saint on the first turn checking Invictus Coco.  Lightning Blast galloped on Invictus Coco on the first turn checking Invictus Coco and Vivian Shiraz.  She's An Earn and Bavaro collided approaching the home turn.

Bavaro was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a split webbing on the left hind foot, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Yelredda Saint - winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Crawford the trainer of He Shall Johnny regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  He Shall Johnny last raced on 17/11/18.  Mr. Crawford stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right front toe injury.

Enzo was quick to begin.  Alon was checked off Vitaliser soon after the start.  Alon was checked off Perfect Piper approaching the first turn.  Enzo and Vitaliser collided on the first turn checking Enzo, Vitaliser and He Shall Johnny.  Perfect Piper and Vitaliser collided approaching the home turn.  Blusain Bolt raced wide entering the home straight.  Perfect Piper was checked off Enzo in the home straight.

Alon was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Dr. Sherlock was quick to begin.  Dybala and Weeona Bulldozer were slow to begin.  Kilpatrick and Poison Gas collided soon after the start.  Shelbourne Star and Kilpatrick collided approaching the first turn.  Shelbourne Star and Kilpatrick collided on the first turn checking Shelbourne Star and Dr. Sherlock.  Dybala raced wide in the home straight.

Zambora Andy and Marko Bale were slow to begin.  High Tale and Manny Allen collided approaching the  first turn checking Manny Allen.  Buddy Blinx and Dyna Reaver collided on the first turn checking Buddy Blinx.  Hot Fiasco and Booming Zulus collided approaching the home turn checking Hot Fiasco.  Manny Allen and Dyna Reaver collided on the home turn checking Dyna Reaver.

Kingsbrae Cheeko was slow to begin.  Tezzalenko was checked off Croucher on the first turn and raced wide checking Zipping Bomber and severely checking Zipping Chaser and Kingsbrae Cheeko.  Kingsbrae Cheeko was checked off Joraddi entering the home straight.

Assasins Code and Aston Valetta collided soon after the start.  Serious Bolt, Aston Valetta and Miss Booming collided approaching the first turn checking Aston Valetta and Miss Booming.  Cassius Monelli and El Diamonte collided on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds, Cassius Monelli fell as a result severely checking Buck The Jockey, checking Serious Bolt.  Serious Bolt raced wide on the home turn.  Trap Queen and Aston Valetta collided in the home straight.

Ichiban Fairy and El Helecho were quick to begin.  Straitline Willy and Sweet Strike were slow to begin.  Ichiban Fairy was checked off El Helecho on the first turn.  Straitline Willy was checked off Ichiban Fairy in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Aurora Miss.

Aurora Miss and Banjo's Affair were slow to begin.  Lektra Miss and Zipping Dale collided approaching the first turn.  Lektra Miss, Zipping Dale and Aurora Miss collided on the first turn checking Aurora Miss.  Dyna Owen, Annaley Rooka and Devil One collided approaching the home turn checking Annaley Rooka, Devil One and Lektra Miss.  Aurora Miss was checked off Devil One in the home straight.  Zipping Dale raced wide in the home straight.

Dr. Kestrel was slow to begin.  Invictus Lawless was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Miss Dozer and Dr. Kestrel collided on the home turn checking Dr. Darkrai and Dr. Kestrel.  Seaton Star failed to pursue the lure entering the home straight and collided with Hurricane Craig.  Seaton Star failed to pursue the lure approaching the winning post.

Seaton Star was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. A. Ashworth the trainer of the greyhound Seaton Star regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight and again approaching the winning post.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) Stewards charged Seaton Star with failing to pursue the lure with due commtiment.  Mrs. Ashworth pleaded guilty to the charge, Seaton Star was found guilty and suspended the greyhound for 3 months all tracks and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.
