Assasins Code and Aston Valetta collided soon after the start. Serious Bolt, Aston Valetta and Miss Booming collided approaching the first turn checking Aston Valetta and Miss Booming. Cassius Monelli and El Diamonte collided on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds, Cassius Monelli fell as a result severely checking Buck The Jockey, checking Serious Bolt. Serious Bolt raced wide on the home turn. Trap Queen and Aston Valetta collided in the home straight.
Cassius Monelli was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
