Weeona Dino was slow to begin.
Tobias Kelton checked off Dyna Winkler at the 300m mark. Challis Sprite and Lanis Morris collided at the 150m mark, checking Challis Sprite. Challis Sprite, Dyna Winkler and Lanis Morris collided approaching the winning post.
Weeona Dino was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder muscle. A five-day stand down period was imposed.
