Sunlit Digger was quick to begin. Percy's Empire and Barooga Brett were slow to begin.
Degani checked off Gentle Giant at the 300m mark. Gentle Giant and Ice Cool Kaedyn collided 200m mark, checking both greyhounds. Gentle Giant and Ice Cool Kaedyn collided at the 150m mark. Gentle Giant clipped the heels of Sunlit Digger at the 100m mark, checking both greyhounds. Ice Cool Kaedyn, Kouta Gold and Bear Left raced tightly and collided approaching the winning post.
Samples were taken from Barooga Brett, the winner of the event, and Kouta Gold, the second place-getter in the event.
