A pre-race sample was taken from Summer Skye.
Summer Skye was quick to begin. Baghdad Radio, Damaging Lomar and All Inn Misshap were slow to begin. Baghdad Radio and Damaging Lomar collided soon after the start, checking Baghdad Radio. Damaging Lomar clipped the heels of Ima Scholar approaching the first turn, checking Damaging Lomar. Ima Scholar and All Inn Misshap collided on the first turn, checking Ima Scholar and causing Damaging Lomar to race wide. All Inn Misshap checked off Lektra Brandy on the home turn. Ima Scholar raced wide in the home straight.
Baghdad Radio was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
The numbers 2, 8, 3 and 4 appeared on the semaphore board, before being corrected by the Judge to 2, 8, 3 and 7, all clear was then notified.
