Lektra Viki was quick to begin. Why Not Dean was slow to begin. All Inn Bluebell crossed to the inside soon after the start, checking Con Rod, Tye Me Chopper and Macarthur Road. Tye Me Chopper checked off All Inn Bluebell approaching the first turn. Tye Me Chopper, Con Rod and Sacred Miss collided on the first turn, checking Con Rod, Sacred Miss and Why Not Dean; Why Not Dean raced as a result. Con Rod checked off Macarthur Road on the home turn.
