A pre-race sample was taken from Pamela Rocks.
Kreuzberg and Cairnlea Rosie were quick to begin. Pamela Rocks and Zulu Fred were slow to begin. Kiss Me Razley and Lektra Elsa collided soon after the start, checking Lektra Elsa. Billy Moran checked off Cairnlea Rosie approaching the first turn. Kreuzberg raced wide on the first turn and collided with Kiss Me Razley several times, checking both greyhounds. Zulu Fred raced wide on the home turn. Pamela Rocks and Billy Moran collided entering the home straight. Lektra Elsa checked off Billy Moran in the home straight.
Kreuzberg was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
